CRM

Customer Relationship Management, also known as relationship marketing or sales. CRM is supported by online or offline systems and/or databases to manage customer relationships.

Web to Print

Describes the ways via the internet of selecting, uploading or completing information, which is then automatically converted into a designed publication which can in turn be processed into a graphic and/or electronic end-product.

SaaS

Software as a service is a business model/function in which software is not sold, but is made available as a hosted service. The software is accessible via the internet and billing occurs on the basis of a subscription formula.

MRM

Marketing Resource Management is the totality of software tools and infrastructure supporting marketing operations management. Generally these are tools for planning, design and production – and to a lesser extent strategy and analysis.

DAM

Digital Asset Management denotes managing digital media throughout their life-cycle: saving, organizing, processing or modifying and distributing.

ROMI

Acronym for Return on Marketing Investment. ROMI establishes the connection between marketing expenditure and incomes. ROMI analyses the benefits of the money invested.

Channel

A channel or medium ensures the physical or digital distribution of communications expressions to prospects or clients via the sales network. Examples: printed material, e-mail, SMS/MMS, video etc.

EMM

Enterprise Marketing Management is defined by Gartner as a business strategy to guide the entire operation of a marketing department along the right lines so that efficiency improves and people and resources are attuned to each other.

MAM

Marketing Asset Management denotes the management, control and distribution of marketing assets. Examples: communications materials, photos, illustrations and texts, logos, fonts and other brand elements etc.

MOM

Marketing Operations Management is intended to optimize the entire marketing function and all related processes: from planning and budgeting to production and analysis. Including response monitoring and reporting.
